Feminine Form
For this project, I wanted to create a piece of simplified geometry inspired by the golden ratio. The golden ratio — known for its harmonious structure — is seen throughout nature, hidden within different forms and identities, shaping the world we live in. This piece, representing a simplified human form based on the golden ratio, is illuminated by the contrasting clash of 2 polarising colours.
The canvas was 24" by 72" to create the figure in a human life size.
